As the Addams family and the Beinekes come together for dinner, tensions escalate. Wednesday, deeply in love with Lucas, pleads with her family to act “normal” to win the approval of Lucas’s parents. Pugsley, observing the couple’s affection, tries to sabotage their relationship by slipping a dark potion into the sacred chalice during a game of “Full Disclosure.” The unexpected consequence is that the potion transforms Alice Beineke, Lucas’s mother, into a dark and uninhibited version of herself. Amid the ensuing chaos and family revelations, Wednesday announces her intention to marry Lucas, causing a storm that traps the Beinekes with the Addams family for the night. In the midst of the turmoil, Wednesday leaves, questioning the idea of normalcy and the efforts she made to fit into it, leaving the story with an open and intriguing ending.
