As the Addams family and the Beinekes come together for dinner, tensions escalate. Wednesday, deeply in love with Lucas, pleads with her family to act “normal” to win the approval of Lucas’s parents. Pugsley, observing the couple’s affection, tries to sabotage their relationship by slipping a dark potion into the sacred chalice during a game of “Full Disclosure.” The unexpected consequence is that the potion transforms Alice Beineke, Lucas’s mother, into a dark and uninhibited version of herself. Amid the ensuing chaos and family revelations, Wednesday announces her intention to marry Lucas, causing a storm that traps the Beinekes with the Addams family for the night. In the midst of the turmoil, Wednesday leaves, questioning the idea of normalcy and the efforts she made to fit into it, leaving the story with an open and intriguing ending.

In this eerie and comically macabre tale, the Addams family, whose ancestors once settled in what is now New York’s Central Park, annually gathers to celebrate life and death in a peculiar ritual. This unique family, consisting of Gomez, Morticia, Fester, Grandma, Wednesday, Pugsley, and Lurch, welcomes their deceased ancestors from the grave for this special occasion. However, a significant twist unfolds when Fester prevents the ancestors from returning to their graves after the ceremony, setting off a chain of events. The central conflict arises when Wednesday, the mischievous daughter, reveals her intention to marry Lucas Beineke, a “normal” young man from Ohio. The clash of two drastically different worlds – the Addams’ dark and peculiar universe and the Beinekes’ Middle-American upbringing – sets the stage for a tumultuous and comical evening as secrets, love, and chaos collide.
